goingsouth: RIP to a brilliant innovator and a true genius. I was told today I should be an attorney (and it wasn’t a male), that I would “be a provocative and progressive force in court”. Being an attorney was my first career choice; life happened and I became a mother at 20. I was fortunate to have fallen into my career now;I worked my ass off though. Stable, I love it and a great living but becoming an attorney still intrigues me. I told this woman I was too old for law school. She said “I was 35 when I wentto law school. I was going to turn 40 regardless, why not be an attorney on my birthday”. Im 35…..I have always said….time passes anyway, might as well improve yourself while it does so. I would crack skulls in court, straight tear some shit up. Think Denny Crane from Boston Legal; that would be this girl. Awe…I can fantasize although Reno doesn’t have a law school…..~J
